Vegan Whole 30 Day 1

I started Whole 30 on February 16, 2016. 

Just a little background: I follow a vegetarian mostly vegan diet. Up until this day I had some kind of grain or carb for almost every meal. I work a desk job 7:30-4:30 and I am pretty dang lazy. 

Since I am doing Vegan Whole 30 I am accidentally also following a Raw till Four diet. 

I'll be giving a little update each day for 30 days to keep track of how I'm feeling and what I ate. 

Please keep in mind that throughout the day I drink a large amount of water and herbal and/or decaf teas.

DAY ONE

6:30 Wake up. 

7:30 Ate a large smoothie made of spinach, carrots, chia seeds, banana, blueberries and strawberries

Today I volunteered before work so I was doing some heavy lifting from 8-11 today.

By the time I got back to work I was feeling very hungry. And oddly feverish. 

11 Lunch time. I ate a Baggie of sugar snap peas and carrots along with a cutie and a Baggie of cashews. 

Feeling much better after my lunch.....

12:30 I am daydreaming about swan diving into a trough of spaghetti o's. 

12:34 I realize I haven't gone this long without carbs since I started eating solid foods 

12:47 I work past my pseudo internal meltdown and try to focus on all the good foods I can eat... Dreaming of a sweet potato now 

2:30 Drank half of a Kombucha.. Multi greens flavor and ate a cutie 

4:30 Cook some salmon for Jeff and cube two sweet potatoes for me.. I tossed them in avocado oil, light salt and some cayenne pepper then bake them in the oven. I also have an organic apple with almond butter.

8:00 I usually have a sweet treat around time time. I break down and drink a la croix strawberry pineapple 

Overall today wasn't bad. I had an odd fever feeling most of the day, and was craving some noodles and bread pretty hard core but I got through it!
